Driver Seriously Injured After Crash on I-15 Tuesday
MIRAMAR RANCH, Ca (December 3, 2019) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic collision Tuesday morning on the Interstate 15 Freeway.
According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the wreck involved a 2014 Toyota Tundra and a military truck. Officials said the Toyota crashed into the rear of an armored Marine Corps vehicle traveling north on the freeway.

Medical teams responded to the location shortly after 12:50 a.m. and found the Toyota driver trapped in the wreckage. Per local news source, it took crews around 35 minutes to free the motorist. A land ambulance then transported the injured party to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla for treatment of serious wounds.
No other injuries were immediately reported. Further investigation on the case is underway.
