Mirian Ibrahem and Corey Rees in Killed Riverside Car Accident
RIVERSIDE (September 14, 2018) – Two motorists killed after a traffic collision in the area of La Sierra and Cypress avenues late Thursday night have been identified, according to the Coroner’s Office.
The deceased parties were named as 21-year-old Mirian Malaka Saad Ibrahem and 27-year-old Corey Rees . Both were Riverside residents.
As per The Press Enterprise and a statement released by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason at the intersection of Cypress Avenue and La Sierra avenues.

Police believed that one car was going east on Cypress while the other was headed south on La Sierra when they crashed at 11:30 p.m. Both vehicles plowed into the front yard of a vacant home upon impact.
Ibrahem was pronounced dead at the scene while Corey was rushed to Riverside Community Hospital where he later died. They were the drivers of the two cars involved.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
