Man, 22, Badly Hurt in Skateboard Collision with Vehicle
LOCATION: Mission Beach, San Diego
DATE OF COLLISION: Monday, September 17th
September 18, 2018- According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, a major injury skateboard versus vehicle collision took place last night on Mission Bay Drive near Quivera Road.
At roughly 8:40 p.m., a 22-year-old unidentified man had been riding his skateboard before being struck by a vehicle.
Authorities are considering the man’s injuries as life-threatening as he currently remains hospitalized at a trauma center Tuesday morning.
According to the Union-Tribune, the vehicle involved was a Nissan Sentra driven by a 25-year-old male who was not believed to have been under the influence.
San Diego police officials will be the agency handling the investigation.
