Woman, 2 Men Hurt in Violent 2-Car Crash in Mission Viejo
MISSION VIEJO, CA (May 1, 2018) — Three people were injured Monday afternoon when a minivan and a car collided on Felipe Road and Hawk Hill, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
The crash took place about 1:45 p.m. between a white Toyota minivan and a dark 4-door gray BMW. The violent crash resulted in the front of the BMW being torn off and the side of the minivan was crushed in.
A woman in her late 40s and two men in their 20s were hospitalized after the crash. The woman suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mission Hospital’s trauma center. The report did not state the extent of injuries suffered by the two men, but all three people were wearing their seat belts and avoided more serious injuries as a result.
Police do not suspect drugs and or alcohol were factors at this time.

It’s unknown at this time what led to the collision. Police are reviewing the evidence and interviews with those involved and witnesses to piece together what happened.
