5 Injured in Mission Viejo Crash at Alicia Parkway and Jeronimo Road
MISSION VIEJO, CA (September 11, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash at Alicia Parkway and Jeronimo Road in Mission Viejo.
According to an article published by The Orange County Register, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 2 p.m.
The incident happened when nine cars collided for an unknown reason in the city of Mission Viejo. The vehicles crashed at the intersection of Alicia Parkway and Jeronimo Road.
Multiple Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of five people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed two of the patients to a hospital and listed one of them in critical condition. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and the extent of their injuries.
Meanwhile, officers forced westbound Alicia at Jeronimo and southbound Jeronimo to Acero to shut down for several hours following the wreck.
The cause of the Mission Viejo crash is still under investigation.
