ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 17, 2023) — A crash involving multiple vehicles happened Tuesday on the Interstate 5 Freeway, just north of Crown Valley Parkway in Mission Viejo.
The crash occurred about 6:03 a.m. on Jan. 17th in south Orange County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a blue Toyota Corolla sedan, a black Cadillac, a Lincoln Town Car, a white Ford F-250 pickup truck, a gold Hyundai Veloster and a tan Chrysler 300 sedan are involved. The Toyota had front-end damage and the Chrysler had left front-end and rear-end damage.
The Orange County Fire Authority responded to help those injured in the Mission Viejo crash. They took at least one person with minor injuries to a hospital.
Meanwhile, tow trucks came to remove several damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Mission Viejo crash.
