The 2-car collision took place at precisely 4:15 p.m. at or near the crossroads of Alicia Parkway and Lanzarote.
Shireen Tabatabai was the driver of one vehicle who collided with a 20-year-old man.
Per the Orange Coroner, the 23-year-old woman was seriously injured and rushed to Mission Hospital, where she remained in serious condition. She sadly succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead later on in the evening.
The 20-year-old man who remains unidentified was injured and hospitalized as well.
Details regarding the cause of the crash remain under investigation as the Orange County Sheriffs Department will be the agency assigned to the incident.
