
Bicycle Rider Injured in Modesto Crash at Crows Landing and Lathrop
MODESTO, CA (March 12, 2023) – A bicycle rider was hospitalized after a crash at Crows Landing Road and Lathrop Street in Modesto.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident took place last month on February 19. Officers reported the collision at around 5:18 a.m.
The incident happened when for an unknown reason, a white Ford F350 struck a male bicycle rider in the city of Modesto. The pickup truck hit him at the intersection of Crows Landing Road and Lathrop Street.
Bicyclist Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the bicyclist hurt. The patient sustained a laceration to his head as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded cyclist and his condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car stopped or stayed at the site following the incident. Officers forced the area of Crows Landing and Lathrop to shut down after the wreck.
The cause of the Modesto bicycle crash is still under investigation.
