Bicycle Rider Seriously Injured in Modesto Crash at Tenaya and Kerr

MODESTO, CA (March 10, 2023) – A bicycle rider was seriously injured after a crash at Tenaya Drive and Kerr Avenue in Modesto.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck on March 10 at about 9:09 a.m.

The incident happened when a white sedan struck the bicycle rider for an unknown reason in the city of Modesto. The car hit the bicyclist at the intersection of Tenaya Drive and Kerr Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Yosemite Boulevard. They found the cyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver stopped or stayed at the site following the incident. Officers forced the area of Tenaya and Kerr to shut down after the wreck.

The cause of the Modesto bicycle crash is still under investigation.
