2 Injured in Modesto Rollover Crash
MODESTO (July 31, 2017) – Two people were hospitalized following a 2-vehicle collision on Scenic Drive Monday morning, according to Modbee.
As per the article, the crash took place around 7:00 a.m. when a Chevrolet van headed south on High Street stopped at the stop sign but failed to yield to traffic at the Scenic Drive junction. The van moved through the westbound lanes and slammed into the silver Jeep Patriot traveling eastbound on Scenic Drive, officials said.
The impact forced the Jeep to overturn and land on its driver side. It was found by emergency crews facing northwest near the curb on Scenic Drive’s right eastbound lane.

Authorities said firefighters removed the Jeep’s front windshield before carefully extricating two injured occupants. Both victims were transported by land ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Investigators did not release any information on the Chevrolet driver.
At this time, the names of the involved parties remain undisclosed.
