Driver, Passenger Injured After Crash at Albers and Patterson Friday
Modesto, CA (December 13, 2020) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic collision in the area of Albers and Patterson roads, the Modesto Bee reported.
On December 11, Friday, a tractor-trailer rig jackknifed into oncoming traffic at the Modesto intersection. The truck eventually hit a pedestrian at Albers and Patterson.
Officials believed the operator of the rig lost control of the vehicle, leading to the crash.
Emergency teams arrived at the accident scene shortly after 9 p.m. First responders reportedly found two people trapped in the wrecked sedan.

Our sources later confirmed the driver and a passenger in the smaller vehicle both suffered moderate injuries as a result of the crash. Pending confirmation, the names of the victims remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck reportedly appeared unharmed after the incident.
Investigators mentioned the weather and road conditions possibly contributed to the crash. At the moment, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the car and truck accident in Modesto.
