1 Seriously Injured in Modesto Crash at Shiloh Road and Grayson Road
MODESTO, CA (August 21, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Shiloh Road and Grayson Road in Modesto.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Saturday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:06 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Modesto. They crashed at the intersection of Shiloh Road and West Grayson Road.
Sedan and Van Collide
The incident log described the cars as a tan Honda Accord and a tan colored van. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Laird Regional Park.
Medical personnel found a female occupant of the van who sustained major facial injuries as a result of the collision. They then took her to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and her condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Shiloh and Grayson roads to shut down for about an hour following the wreck.
The cause of the Modesto crash is still under investigation.
