1 Seriously Injured in Modesto Crash at Beckwith Road and Hammett Road
MODESTO, CA (June 12, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Beckwith Road and Hammett Road in Modesto.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:22 a.m. near the Salida area.
Their incident log said two sedans collided for an unknown reason in Fresno. They crashed at the intersection of Beckwith Road and Hammett Road.
CHP described the two cars involved as a blue Ford and a silver Lexus. Both vehicles sustained major front-end damage upon impact.
2 Cars Collide Near Salida
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene and extricated two trapped people from each car. Both patients were hurt as a result of the collision.
Officials confirmed that one person sustained major injuries following the wreck. Medical personnel took one patient to the Doctors Medical Center for treatment.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP soon forced the intersection of Beckwith and Hammett roads to close after the crash.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Modesto collision.
