1 Seriously Injured in Modesto Crash on South Carpenter Road
MODESTO, CA (May 6, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on South Carpenter Road in Modesto.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the incident late Wednesday night. Officers reported the wreck on May 5 at about 11:14 p.m.
According to their report, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Modesto. They crashed at 8507 South Carpenter Road between Fulkerth Road and Monte Vista Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and rescued a female occupant trapped in the wreckage. They confirmed that one person sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the hospital for treatment of a broken leg. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the roadway to shut down following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Modesto crash.
