Car and Semi-Truck Crash on Finch Road in Modesto
MODESTO, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2021) — A Modesto crash on Finch road between a car and semi-truck happened Thursday morning at Garner Road.
The two-vehicle collision happened about 8:12 a.m. on Oct. 28th at the Modesto intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a white Toyota Camry suffered major injuries in the collision with a semi-truck. Paramedics transported at least one person to a hospital for treatment. The CHP report did not mention how many people were in the vehicle.
It’s unknown what led up to the Modesto crash on Finch Road, but the car suffered major front-end damage and had to be towed from the rear of the vehicle, police said. Also, oil from the big rig truck spilled out onto the roadway and required cleanup. No word on whether the truck driver suffered injuries in the collision.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash.
