Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision on McHenry Avenue
Modesto, CA (July 11, 2022) – Dakota Stockton, a 23-year-old man, died following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on McHenry Avenue on July 6, Wednesday.
Pedestrian Dies in Modesto Accident
The Central Valley TV and Modesto Bee News reported a vehicle struck a male party near the 3400 block of McHenry Avenue in Modesto. Shortly after 11 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the pedestrian lying in the roadway. Despite life-saving measures, the victim sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Dakota Stockton.
Authorities mentioned the driver involved in the catastrophic incident fled the scene. No immediate information was immediately available on the hit-and-run suspect.
According to the article published online, police shut down northbound lanes of McHenry Avenue; between Standiford Avenue and Robin Hood Drive. Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate at this time several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident on McHenry Avenue in Modesto.
