Vehicle Strikes, Kills Woman Near River Road
Modesto, CA (July 24, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred early Sunday on South Ninth Street, the Modesto Bee News reported.
Our sources indicated a woman attempted to run across the street in Modesto. While in the middle of the roadway, a passing Toyota Camry struck the pedestrian. The horrible crash took place in the 400 block of South Ninth Street, just south of River Road.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on South Ninth Street in Modesto
Shortly after 12:35 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the accident scene. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to the female victim found suffering in serious injuries including a head trauma. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the woman sadly succumbed to her injuries and passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
