Deputy Injured in Collision on Crows Landing Road Thursday
Modesto, CA (September 5, 2021) – A Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputy suffered injuries following a car crash on Crows Landing Road on September 2, Thursday.
According to the Modesto Bee News, a suspected drunk driver struck the patrol vehicle of the officer in south Modesto. The collision took place shortly before 7 p.m.
Primary reports indicated the deputy was heading north on Crows Landing responding to a call. When the patrol vehicle approached the intersection at Hatch Road, a blue Ford SUV veered into its path. The deputy did not have enough time to stop, officials said, and ended up colliding wit the Ford SUV.
When medical personnel arrived at the crash site, they immediately rendered aid to the deputy found with injuries. The name of the injured officer and their condition at this time have not been revealed thus far.

Meanwhile, the article published online mentioned responding highway patrol arrested the driver of the Ford. Authorities believed the motorist was driving under the influence when the accident happened.
