Cyclist Killed in Collision at McHenry and Union Avenue
Modesto, CA (November 15, 2022) – A fatal traffic crash occurred in the area of McHenry and Union Avenue, the KCRA3 News reported.
Officials said a vehicle struck a bicyclist at the intersection in Modesto Tuesday evening. The make and model of the car involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Deadly Bicycle Crash in Modesto
Shortly after 7 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the cyclist suffering in serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine liability in the deadly accident that happened at McHenry and Union Avenue.
