1 Killed in Modesto Car Crash on McHenry Avenue Near Target Store
MODESTO, CA (September 19, 2021) – At least one was killed after a car crash on McHenry Avenue in Modesto.
According to an article published by The Modesto Bee, the tragic accident took place late Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:30 p.m.
Modesto police said a car and two pickup trucks collided for an unknown reason in the city. The three vehicles crashed on McHenry Avenue in front of the Target store.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They confirmed that one person riding the car at the time died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, the cause of the fatal Modesto crash is still under investigation.
Police forced McHenry Avenue between Sylvan and Woodrow avenues to shut down for several hours following the wreck.
