Pedestrian Killed, Motorcyclist Injured in Modesto Crash at Scenic and Bodem
MODESTO, CA (October 29, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian and injured a motorcyclist at Scenic Drive and Bodem Street in Modesto.
According to an article published by The Modesto Bee, the tragic accident took place late Friday night. Officers reported the collision at about 10 p.m.
The incident happened on October 28 when the motorcycle rider struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city of Modesto.
Victim Hit by Motorcycle Rider
Police said the rider hit the person at the intersection of Scenic Drive and Bodem Street. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They confirmed that the pedestrian died as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, police forced the area of Scenic and Bodem to shut down for a time following the incident.
The cause of the fatal Modesto pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
