1 Seriously Injured in Modesto Hit-and-Run at Bystrum Road and Hosmer Avenue
MODESTO (August 10, 2020) – An alleged hit-and-run collision seriously injured one person in the area of Bystrum Road and Hosmer Avenue early Saturday.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on August 8 at about 1:53 a.m. It happened at the location of 528 Bystrum Road.
According to their dispatch, a vehicle struck a male victim for an unknown reason at the intersection of Bystrum Road and Hosmer Avenue.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the patient who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to Doctors Medical Center with a compound fracture to right ankle. His name and condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and then took off. Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to locate the motorist.
