
Modesto hit-and-run crash Sisk Pelandale
1 Injured in Modesto Hit-and-Run Crash at Sisk Road and Pelandale Avenue
MODESTO, CA (July 4, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash at Sisk Road and Pelandale Avenue in Modesto.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck on July 3 at about 9:39 p.m.
According to their dispatch team, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Modesto. They crashed at the intersection of Sisk Road and Pelandale Avenue.
One of them involved plunged 100 feet down an embankment upon impact.
2 Cars Collide Near Highway 99
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 99. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the victim to the Doctors Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop, continued across Pelandale and fled southbound on Highway 99. They described the suspect car as possibly a white Chevrolet Silverado.
Officers forced the area of Sisk Road and Pelandale Avenue to close following the wreck. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Modesto hit-and-run crash.
