Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Yosemite Boulevard and Albers Road Thursday
Modesto, CA (November 21, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a suspected hit-and-run collision that occurred on November 18 in the area of Yosemite Boulevard and Albers Road.
According to the CHP dispatch, a vehicle struck an individual at the busy intersection in Modesto. The make and model of the car involved in the crash remained unknown.
CHP logged the accident shortly after 6:30 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian inside a nearby business. The victim apparently walked away from the scene and asked for help after the crash. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the victim. At this time, the name of the pedestrian and the extent of their injuries remained undisclosed.

Investigators later confirmed the motorist involved in the collision fled the scene. Earlier reports mentioned the suspect was driving a vehicle that appeared to be a silver Saturn.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Yosemite Boulevard and Albers Road in Modesto.
