Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Modesto Crash at Highway 219 and Carver Road
MODESTO, CA (January 30, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Highway 219 and Carver Road in Modesto.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:39 p.m.
The incident began when a silver sedan ran a red light at the intersection of Highway 219 and Carver Road in Modesto. In the process, the car slammed into the motorcycle rider.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground. The victim sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the sedan ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the Modesto crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Highway 219, known as Kiernan Avenue, and Carver Road to shut down after the wreck.
