Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Modesto Crash on Tenaya Drive Near Mitchell Road
MODESTO, CA (July 17, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Tenaya Drive near a car dealer in Modesto.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:25 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle collided with the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason in Modesto. The two crashed at 2282 Tenaya Drive in front of the Kars R Us.
Collision Near Car Dealer
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Mitchell Road. They found the motorcyclist down on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver stopped or if they stayed at the site following the wreck. Officers forced a portion of Tenaya Drive to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the Modesto crash is still under investigation.
