Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Modesto Crash at Whitmore and Vivian
MODESTO, CA (November 21, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Whitmore Avenue and Vivian Road in Modesto.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Sunday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 4:30 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Modesto. The two crashed at the intersection of West Whitmore Avenue and Vivian Road.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Carpenter Road. They found the motorcyclist who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the victim and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the other driver sustained any wound or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Whitmore and Vivian to shut down after the wreck.
The cause of the Modesto crash is still under investigation.
