Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Modesto Crash at Oakdale Road and Scenic Drive
MODESTO, CA (May 6, 2022) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after crash at Oakdale Road and Scenic Drive in Modesto.
According to an article published by The Modesto Bee, the accident took place on Thursday morning. Officers reported the collision at about 8 a.m.
The incident happened on May 5 when a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city of Modesto. Police said the driver hit the person at the intersection of Oakdale Road and Scenic Drive.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police added that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. Officers forced the area of Oakdale and Scenic to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the Modesto pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
