Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Modesto Accident on Crows Landing Road
MODESTO, CA (May 17, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after an accident on Crows Landing Road in Modesto.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the incident occurred on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the crash at about 2 p.m.
CHP said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Modesto. The driver hit the person at 1329 Crows Landing Road near Crater Avenue and Barozzi Avenue.
Victim Hit by Vehicle Near Hatch Road
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Hatch Road. They found the victim who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped after hitting the person. Officers forced Crows Landing Road to close following the collision.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Modesto pedestrian accident.
