Modesto Police Patrol Vehicle Hits Pedestrian
MODESTO, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2023) — A Modesto police patrol vehicle struck a pedestrian Wednesday morning in an accident on Highway 132 also known as Yosemite Boulevard at Santa Rita Avenue.
The collision occurred at around 8:03 a.m. on Oct. 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the collision in an area between two marked crosswalks. It’s unknown if the victim was in one of the crosswalks at the time of the accident.
Paramedics responded to help the injured person, but there are no further details.
The cause of the crash and liability remain under investigation.
