Man Seriously Injured in Modesto Hit-and-Run at Wade and Rouse
MODESTO (January 1, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after an alleged hit-and-run accident in the area of Wade and Rouse avenues on New Year’s Eve, according to The Modesto Bee.
The collision took place on December 31 at about 6 p.m., just south of Paradise Road.
As per the article, police said a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle for an unknown reason at the intersection of Wade and Rouse avenues on Monday.
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the crash site and found the man left wounded in the roadway as a result of the crash.

The patient was immediately taken to a hospital to be treated for major injuries. His name and condition at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop after hitting the victim and fled the scene without rendering aid.
The suspect car was described as a white pickup truck which had a rack for storing a ladder at the time of the incident. Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to locate the hit-and-run motorist.
