Pedestrian Injured in Modesto Hit-and-Run at Boulder Avenue and Hatch Road
MODESTO, CA (November 22, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured a pedestrian at Boulder Avenue and Hatch Road in Modesto.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the accident on November 20 at about 12:48 p.m.
According to CHP, a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Modesto. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Boulder Avenue and East Hatch Road.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene in the Shackelford neighborhood. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided aid to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to help the victim and fled the area. The cause of the Modesto hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the corner of Boulder Avenue and Hatch Road to shut down following the collision.
