Pedestrian Injured in Modesto Hit-and-Run Collision on Coffee Road
MODESTO (May 7, 2020) – An alleged hit-and-run collision along Coffee Road injured a pedestrian last week late Saturday night.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on May 2 at approximately 10:20 p.m. in the 1700 block of Coffee Road.
According to their report log, a vehicle allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed struck a male pedestrian running on Coffee Road.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found the victim left suffering from unspecified injuries near the Sutter Health Memorial Medical Center as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel provided treatment to the patient, whose name and condition at this time were not released. CHP did not mention if the wounded party needed to be hospitalized for further aid.
Meanwhile, officers affirmed that the driver involved did not stop and sped away after hitting the victim. Authorities are gathering more information and evidence to locate the motorist.
