Mohamed Elbashary Hospitalized After Car Crash on I-405 Freeway at Fairview Road Sunday
Costa Mesa, CA (May 2, 2021) – Mohamed Elbashary suffered injuries following a traffic accident on Interstate 405, also known as San Diego Freeway, Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a silver Toyota Prius crashed in the northbound side of 405 Freeway. The collision took place near the Fairview Road onramp, officials said.

Earlier reports mentioned at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. The California Highway Patrol log identified a person injured in the crash as Mohamed Elbashary. Due to the extent of his injuries, paramedics transported the man to Orange Coast Memorial Center for treatment. At this time, the age and place of residency of the patient remained undisclosed.
Several factors surrounding the collision have not been discussed thus far. Given that, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car accident in Costa Mesa happened.
