2 Injured in Mojave Crash Near Sierra Highway and Silver Queen Road
MOJAVE, CA (September 4, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash near Sierra Highway and Silver Queen Road in Mojave.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident early Saturday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 3:16 a.m.
CHP said a gray SUV and a black sedan collided for an unknown reason in Mojave. The two crashed near the intersection of Sierra Highway and Silver Queen Road.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 14. They found two people who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
One patient sustained major injuries while the other suffered minor injuries upon impact. Medical personnel then took them to the Tehachapi Hospital and the Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at the time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Sierra Highway and Silver Queen to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Mojave crash is still under investigation.
