Mojave: Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Highway 14

Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Mojave Bridge

Mojave, CA (April 29, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly pedestrian accident that occurred on State Route Highway 14 Saturday, April 29.

Officials said a vehicle struck an individual on SR-14 near Mojave Bridge. The make and model of the car involved in the horrible crash have not been revealed thus far.

Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 14

Shortly after 12:18 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found a person unconscious. Our sources mentioned the victim had injuries consistent to being hit by a vehicle. Despite life-saving efforts performed by medical personnel, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.

At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Highway 14 in Mojave.
