
Woman Killed in Fiery Crash on Sunset Boulevard
WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (April 5, 2023) — Monica Hyun Mi Suh, 31, of Los Angeles, died and two others were injured after a fiery crash on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.
Also, the driver of the vehicle apparently exited the crashed Tesla Model X and fled the scene on foot, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The solo-vehicle, hit-and-run crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. on April 3rd in the 8200 block of Sunset Boulevard, according to KTLA News.

The westbound motorist reportedly lost control of the vehicle and hit a lamp post and a tree before the vehicle burst into flames, the report said.
Three people including the male driver got out of the vehicle, but Monica Hyun Mi Suh remained trapped and died at the scene. Two female backseat passengers were both taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate to major injuries.
Police say the man driving the vehicle was picked up by another motorist and taken to a hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Investigators believe that speed was a factor in the fatal crash on Sunset Boulevard, but the circumstances remain under investigation.
