Monrovia crash 210 Freeway
1 Killed, 4 Injured in Monrovia Crash on 210 Freeway at Huntington Drive
MONROVIA, CA (June 23, 2021) – A crash killed one person and injured several others on the 210 Freeway in Monrovia.
According to the CBS Los Angeles and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 3 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said about four to six vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Monrovia. They crashed on the eastbound 210 Freeway at West Huntington Drive.
Multiple Vehicles Collide in Monrovia
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded and pronounced one individual dead at the scene. At least four other people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patients to hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the eastbound lanes of the 210 Freeway to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Monrovia crash is still under investigation.
