Two Bicycle Riders Hit by Car in Monte Sereno Area
Santa Clara County, Calif. (June 29, 2022) — A Monte Sereno bicycle accident happened Wednesday morning at Hillview Drive and Toyon Drive.
The collision occurred about 6:37 a.m. on June 29th at the Monte Sereno intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a black Porsche struck two people riding bicycles due to unknown circumstances.
The two riders suffered minor injuries to their hands and arms after being hit by the car. They reportedly self transported to a hospital and did not require an ambulance, the CHP dispatcher said.
The report does not provide the gender, age or identity of the injured bicycle riders. It does appear that the driver in the Porsche stopped and is cooperating with authorities.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Monte Sereno bicycle accident.
