5 Injured in Montecito Multi-Car Crash on Highway 101
MONTECITO (June 10, 2018) – Several people were injured after a traffic collision along Highway 101 on Sunday afternoon, according to Noozhawk.
The accident took place shortly before 4 p.m. near San Ysidro Road.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol and Montecito Fire Protection District said six vehicles were involved in the crash which occurred in the northbound lanes of Highway 101.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to a total of five parties who were hurt as a result of the wreck.

Two individuals sustained moderate injuries while the three others suffered minor wounds. The report did not include whether or not all the wounded patients were taken to the hospital for further aid.
The name and condition of the victims at this time were not immediately released. Meanwhile, one lane of the highway was forced to shut down following the incident.
Authorities are gathering more information and evidence to determine what exactly caused the collision.
