Passenger Killed, Kyle Maysey Injured After Car Crash Near Olive Mill Road
MONTECITO, Santa Barbara County (June 2, 2018) – One person was killed, and another was injured in an auto accident early Saturday on Highway 101.
According to Noozhawk, a single-vehicle crashed, for reasons still under investigation, on Highway 101 at about 1:40 a.m. The collision occurred at the southbound Olive Mill off-ramp.
Primary reports indicated the wreck happened when the driver, 31-year-old Kyle Jesse Maysey, allowed his 2017 Hyundai to veer off the roadway. Officials said the vehicle traveled down the embankment where it struck a streetlight and a tree.
