Motorcyclist Injured in Montecito Crash on Sycamore Canyon Road
MONTECITO, CA (October 29, 2022) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash on Sycamore Canyon Road in Montecito.
According to an article published by the Noozhawk, the accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:50 a.m.
The Montecito Fire Department said a motorcycle rider and a sedan collided for an unknown reason in the city. The two crashed in the 2000 block of Sycamore Canyon Road.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck.
Officers forced a stretch of Sycamore Canyon Road to shut down after the incident. The cause of the Montecito crash is still under investigation.
