1 Hospitalized After Collision Near Sheffield Drive
Montecito, CA (November 26, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 101 Saturday, the Noozhawk News reported.
Motorcycle, Car Accident on Highway 101 in Montecito
Our sources indicated seven vehicles, and a motorcycle crashed into each other in the northbound side of the highway just south of Sheffield Drive. The make and model of the cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Shortly after 5:20 p.m., rescue teams arrived the location. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, an ambulance transported one victim to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Police shut down the northbound Highway 101 lanes at Ortega Hill Road to give way to the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise cause of the traffic accident that happened on Highway 101 in Montecito.
