Passenger Trapped in Vehicle, Near Pasadera Drive
MONTEREY, Calif. (July 29, 2024) — A two-vehicle car accident happened Monday evening on State Route 68, just east of Pasadera Drive in Monterey California
The traffic accident occurred at around 6:10 PM on Monday July 29th 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Toyota sedan and a grey sedan collided into one another on westbound State Route 68 due to unknown circumstances. The grey sedan overturned following the direct impact of the crash and another vehicle went off the roadway. A passenger involved in the crash was reportedly trapped inside one of the vehicles. CHP also reported that someone had complaints of back pain from the collision. Tow trucks were needed on the scene to remove the damaged cars from the highway.
Paramedics responded and located those with injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the accident in Monterey California on State Route 68 or Highway 68.
