At Least 1 Killed in Collision on Highway 1 Sunday
Monterey, CA (November 14, 2021) – One person died following a car crash that occurred in the area of Highway 1 and Del Monte Boulevard Sunday afternoon.
The KION546 reported a traffic collision took place in Monterey at about 12:56 p.m. At this time, the make and model of the automobiles involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.

When medical personnel arrived at the location, they found a male party with serious injuries. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
The California Highway Patrol group reported investigators stayed at the scene to work to determine the precise cause of the fatal car crash on Highway 1 in Monterey.
