At Least 1 Hurt in Collision on San Miguel Canyon Road Wednesday
Monterey, CA (October 6, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on San Miguel Canyon Road Wednesday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a white Toyota Tundra collided with another vehicle at Manzanita Park in Monterey County. Officials said the accident took place in the 7925 of San Miguel Canyon Road.
The CHP logged the case around 3:51 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. Paramedics later confirmed at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the incident. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim and the extent of the injuries have not been revealed thus far.

Officials mentioned a driver involved in the collision fled the scene. At this time, details on the hit-and-runs suspect remained unclear.
