At Least 1 Hospitalized After Traffic Collision at Chualar River and River Road Saturday
Monterey, CA (July 10, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Chualar River and River Road Saturday evening.
At approximately 9:15 p.m., a man riding a motorcycle crashed for an unknown reason at the Monterey County intersection. At this time, it remained unclear whether another vehicle played a role in the collision.

Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims found at the scene. According to the CHP dispatch, the motorcycle rider suffered major injuries as a result of the incident. An ambulance later arrived at the crash site, and transported the patient to Natividad Medical Center for treatment.
Several factors surrounding the collision have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the motorcycle accident in Monterey.
