Motorcyclist Possibly Injured in Crash on Highway 1 at Rio Road
DATE OF COLLISION: Monday, October 8th
October 10, 2018 – According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a traffic collision resulted in injuries Monday afternoon on Highway 1 at Rio Road.
Initial reports indicated a black motorcycle collided, for reasons still under investigation, into a white vehicle.
Shortly after 5 p.m., emergency personnel arrived at the accident scene and found a male party lying on the roadway. That man was rushed to a hospital for treatment of what appeared to me minor injuries.
Officials did not immediately clarify if the victim in the crash is the motorcyclist.
Meanwhile, no other injuries were reported in the collision. Further investigation on the case is underway.
