Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Highway 1 Near Carmen Valley Road

November 9, 2018 – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision on Highway 1 near Carmen Valley Road Thursday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol group, a motorcyclist and a silver Toyota sedan collided on southbound Highway 1 at 6:01 p.m.
Responding medical personnel reportedly found at the scene a male rider, who appeared to be hurt as a result of the crash. As per the dispatch, the man suffered major injury to his leg and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The name of the patient, and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned a bicyclist was also found at the crash site. It was not immediately clear if the bicycle rider was actually involved in the collision.
At the time, the investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly what happened here and why.
