Motorcyclist Injured in Highway 1 Crash Near Big Sur Deli

September 30, 2018 – A female motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision on Highway 1 Sunday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a motorcycle and a tan Escalade were involved in a crash on the highway near a Big Sur deli.
First responders reportedly found at the accident scene a female motorcyclist lying in the middle of the roadway. Officials said that woman was suffered minor injuries as a result of the wreck. At this time, the name of the victim and their condition remained unknown.
It was not immediately clear if there were other injuries in the accident.
The precise circumstances that led to the collision are still being investigated.
